How have I benefited from English Depot? Just to start, I've finally learned how to tell the difference between verbs, nouns, adverbs, and adjectives and prepositions. Also things like direct objects and indirect objects. My spelling has improved and I learned new words like toil, taboo, vivid, and vandal. Also, I have got an ¡§A¡¨ on all the tests on the words. I have had lots of practice on how to write paragraphs, spelling, past-tense, future tense, present-tense and learning new words. These are my reasons why English Depot has helped me a lot.

We have learned a lot of more vocabulary, grammar, and writing. We've learned how to write better sentences. We also improved our grammar skills and also known how to use the new vocabularies to make sentences.

I learned a lot of vocabulary and grammar from my teacher who taught me. My English has been improving in elementary school. My grade 7 teacher was proud of me because of my improvement at school. Today is the last day at English Depot, and I must thank my teacher Ms Liu, for teaching me so well. Sometimes, made some mistakes on my grammar, but she told m the answer and describe it, so it makes more sense.

I learned a lot of grammar that I never knew before. I have also learned new words (most of them I have never heard or seen before.)
I missed a lot of classes because I have cadets so I didn't do the test that I was supposed to do the last class. The teacher told me a lot about the history of China and the emperor of China. He also tells us about books and movies that talk about stuff.
By Maggie

I learned many vocabulary and grammar. I also learned many histories about Chinese history and also talk about recent news. We also talk about books and songs that are grammatical. The teacher also gave us shows and movies to talk about. Also, we talked about movies that we watch. Classes are fun.

I learned a lot of different kinds of vocabularies and grammar. I have improved my grammar and used stronger vocabularies. The grammar helped me when to use it and how to use it. The vocabularies helped me, because using stronger words I can use fewer words.

Over the past few months, I've learned a lot of new words. Also I've learned a lot about grammar and how to identify the different types of grammar. I also learn how to use grammar properly and how to write a good essay. I learned all of those from my good teacher. He's very patient, kind and never forces us to do our homework. But for same reasons, we will finish our homework on time. Also, my teacher has make the class much more fun by bring music, songs, presents, books, movies, etc to class making learning much more fun. So I would like to thank him for being such a kind, caring, and good teacher.

The benefit I got from English Depot was waking up early. I even learned history in this class, I learned some words. I even watched new movies The joy luck club?and found out new books. I heard American songs and other things. I recommend we do grammar jeopardy, grammar who wants to be a millionaire, grammar survivors, and grammar idol to make it more fun instead of doing boring things. We could have an open-house to grammar history. That is what I recommend.

English Depot improved my writing skills, specifically in writing structures, tenses and punctuations. Also, English Depot gave me a great deal of practice of editing skills worksheets. Lastly, I had learned more variety of vocabularies from English Depot.

At English Depot, I have learnt lots of vocabulary, and grammar in just one year. My English has been improving a lot in high school because of the intelligence teacher I have here in English Depot, Ms Chu. My English was very successful and next year I will be able to get out of ESL. Therefore, English Depot did help me in improving English throughout the year and I am really appreciated with it.

I have been studying in English Depot for 2 years already. During the last 2 years, I have made a great improvement on vocabulary usage and grammar. Also, essay writing was my biggest weakness until I came to English Depot. As a result, my letter grades in school have been going up. Therefore, I feel really appreciated with the teachers here n English Depot since they have made big contribution to my English skill. For example, our S4 teacher, Cabana Wong, was willing to lend a hand on all my English homework. Consequently, I have no regret enrolling in English Depot's invaluable English lessons or classes.

My benefits from English Depot are numerous. Not only have they increased the size of my already impressive vocabulary, but the encouraging teachers taught me important details in grammar that I usually dismiss. Also, my invaluable peers have helped me through parts of the work I have trouble in.
We have studied closely the works of Shakespeare, Plato, and Homer, and are genuinely interested in their works. The patient teachers have turned these old works fascinating.
At the beginning of each class, we have a quiz to see if we understood what was taught the previous week. The parents receive a monthly report card to follow their children's progress. If a child misbehaves, the parent will be notified, thus preventing further misbehaving.
Every child should have the fortunate opportunity to study at English Depot as I did. I don't wish to state the obvious (because I've said it so many times); people in English Depot grow up to be learned and will discover the pleasures of the world.

I have benefited from my studies at English Depot by getting a better mar in English. Over the past few years, my marks for English at school were usually a "C-", but once I came to English Depot, I got ahead of the class. When we were learning about similes and metaphors, I knew exactly what they meant and how to use them. After a few months coming to English Depot, my marks kept going higher every month. English Depot also taught me a lot of new words to write into school essays. Instead of writing simple words, I used words English Depot had taught me. My English teacher was very surprised that I knew so many different words. I learned how to write longer essays rather tan the tiny short ones have wrote in the past. By increasing the words I have to write at English Depot, I learned how to write more by giving examples. I am making my parents proud of my English marks now that it has improved a lot.

The answer of this question can not be thorough fully expressed in a few words. So let me introduce a story to you. Two months ago, a non-English speaking boy with great disappointment in trying of English learning knocked at the English Depot's door. With little vocabulary he had, he hardly expressed his request to the reception; he wants to improve his poor English skills. With his sincerity desire and effort in learning, the English Depot accepted this boy's registration. In this two months, the boy found exceeding enthusiasm in learning English again. The eloquent speech of the teacher, the intriguing learning materials, and the cooperative learning atmosphere are the wicks of his rocket high improvement. Although he did not put extra effort to the works, he found out that his English skills still progress rapidly. And Yes! This boy is me!

English Depot is the best place for me to improve my English. Before I came to this school, my English skills were very bad. However, I have improved a lot after I have studied in here.
The first year I came to Vancouver, I didn't know any English at all. In school, I almost failed all my courses due to my bad English skills. Then, my friend told me to come to English Depot to improve my English skills. One year passed, now I can totally understand what teachers say in the school. English Depot uses the special learning programs to improve out English. I have learned many words and grammar, and I also did better at writing essays. Consequently, I can do all my school work with few minor mistakes.

What I have benefited from my studies at English Depot is writing better essays. There are also other benefits. Take the vocabulary for instance. I have learnt a lot of new vocabulary words that could come in handy later in life. It is good to use some new words for essays or reports. Learning new words and its meaning have heightened my knowledge and I can understand those people using big words. Another benefit about my studies at English Depot is that my report card grades went up. I also have learned a lot about poetries and how to arrange a presentation in less than an hour. I am not perfect in grammars, but at least I have improved.
For essays, I did do better and received higher grades for English class. I tried using that vocabulary I learnt for writing business letters in my WP 10 classes.
Lastly, the thing I have benefited from my studies at English Depot is being persuasive. I learnt that in real life, I can only pick one scale. It's impossible to pick two scales. It is the same for writing a persuasive paragraph. That's what I have benefited from my studies at English Depot.

I have also learned tons of vocabularies which are very useful for my future. I may encounter lots of different situation which these vocabularies may be needed. Grammar usage and sentence structure are also what I have benefited from my studies at English Depot.

I improved so much after taking lessons at English Depot, and I did much better in all areas of language arts. I improved on poetry, essay writing, grammar, and reading things. It has been great going to English Depot. I hope I can keep taking English Depot lessons until I can achieve maximum scores on my report card, so I could impress my parents. I could also impress my teachers with my skills too.

With the help of English Depot, TLP class, I have gained a better understanding of the structures in English Rules and restrictions I have never heard before. As for the ones I did know already, this class has secured me. Getting a change to write past prose and poems in class gives me the chance to practice my skills. Moreover, I think that having someone correct my essays in great depth gives me the best opportunity to improve my way of writing. Furthermore, learning new vocabulary has helped me as well. Although I might not remember all of them, I recognize them now. I have benefited much from English Depot.

I have benefited from Ms. Liu's class in many ways. Ms. Liu's ability to hold the class together and her tolerances are appreciated. Overall, I found my English foundation strengthened after the course. I now have better preparation for the public examinations.

C ompared to other English tutoring class, English Depot offers more chances for student to write. Through the writing, editing, and correcting possess, I learnt where most of my grammar errors occur so I can correct it in my next writing assignments.
English Depot also offers very tight studying schedule. In every short 2-hour class, they cover a lot of material. No held back guarantee. New stuffs every class. 1% of the vocabularies I learnt in English Depot have proven to be enough help. Although I can only use few of the vocabularies on my essays, I can always identify the words in the book I learnt them from English Depot.

T hose who want to improve and learn more in their studies would seek help and tutor. Since my studies in English have always been troublesome, I decided to go to English Depot to improve my vocabulary, grammar, and essay-writing skills.
At English Depot, I learned multiple new vocabulary words that I slowly integrate into my essays and school work. I begun to develop a more descriptive and mature style of writing than before.
Once I was in high school, I discover how I have difficulties in grammar structure. English Depot assisted me in learning rules in grammar and gaining knowledge in editing and proofreading.
Before I didn't know how to construct a proper essay and English Depot taught me the way.
These are the ways I benefited from my studies at English Depot.
By Annie

The literary device has provided me the tools to analyze passages in our literature appreciation. The essay writing has made me more conscious of the mechanics. Most of all, essay writing has reminded me to always refer back to my thesis so my thoughts didn't go out of thought. Prewriting allowed me to arrange my thoughts and make my writing more coherent. However, misuse of words continues to plague life. Perhaps I should stick to more simplistic language so I understand what I mean. English Depot improved my integration of quotations. Anyways, I look forward to reading more good books this summer when I don't get bombarded in summer school. See you!

Physics Classes

At the beginning of the year, I entered my first Physics 11 class. At first, I felt fairly confident in my abilities. However, after the first month of school passed, I realized Physics 11 was more difficult than I had expected. After a few poorly done quizzes and daily headaches, induced by "nonsensical" formulas and concepts, I realized I needed help. I enrolled to English Depot shortly after a large test, and after that, all the concepts I had struggled with became much easier to understand. The concepts of each topic, which were not always already explained at school, because crystal-clear under the teaching of my teacher at English Depot, Mr Sin. Slowly, but surely, I saw a huge improvement in my marks as the year went on. Whenever I had any difficulty in a particular topic, Mr Sin would "magically" conjure exampled from thin air and had clean, concise solution so that I can master the topic. On the lasts week of school, I can look back and laugh at all the "difficult" concept and idea which had stumped me before. I can also look at the list of students' marks at the back of my class and see my mark in top 10 of my teacher's 90+ students. While there is defiantly stillroom for improvement, I am proud of what I have accomplished this year, and it's all because of my lessons at English Depot that I can say this.
By Jay

All the worksheets have helped me a lot
The teacher Eric explains concepts really well
My test marks have improved
I understand concepts and ideas better
Do the homework at a faster rate
Increased my liking for the subject physics
Able to contribute to the class more
Through my weekly lessons at English Depot, I have been able to spend extracurricular time in learning more about physics at the grade 11 and 12 level. Through tutoring lessons here, my understanding and accumulated knowledge on the topic of physics such as force, waves, and relatively has improved quite a bit. My studies here at English Depot had benefited me through developing my understanding of physics greatly.
